The blue fishing has been very good this month. We are fishing during the daylight hours from 6am to 2pm and have caught some good fish. The bite should be staible for a while. We were catching alot of stripers but the water has gotten so hot that they are not feeding much. Hopefully when it cools down some they will start again. The river is full of hungry mullett. For some reason there are not many floating mussells, which the mullett usually feed on. The have been swimming around hitting at about anything floating on top of the water. They are an easy catch right now. The flatheads are biting too but mostly at night. |
