| PDFA Fishing & Boating Rules |
1) A $50 deposit is required for trips booked a week or more in advance. If you choose to cancel the trip due to bad weather or other circumstances, the deposit is not refundable, but can be applied to a rescheduled trip. 2) For all my trips, the time allotted starts from our meeting point. The allotted trip time includes our travel time by vehicle from our meeting point to the launch site , fishing time, travel time back to our original meeting point, and me dressing your catch. We can fish longer than our allotted time if you wish, for an additional charge of $25 per hour. 3) Fish dressing is included in the trip fee as long as it does not surpass the allotted time for the trip. In other words we need to leave our fishing area early enough for me to have time to dress your catch. If you choose to fish the entire time and then have me clean your fish, there will be an additional $25 charge. 4) You may keep all catfish under 20 pounds we catch. The fish we catch that weigh 20 pounds or more will be released back into the water. No exceptions! 5) Please make sure you have a tight grip on my rods before getting them out of the rod holder when a fish is on. These catfish pull really hard and can jerk a rod and reel right out of your hands. If this happens or you drop or loose any of my equipment in the water I will expect you to pay for it. My rod and reels cost $250.00 each. Broken rods or faulty equipment is not your responsibility. 6) Please do not show up drunk or get sloppy drunk while we are fishing. Keep your drinking under control. Any drunkenness, laud mouth or annoying behavior will result in me escorting you back to the bank. 7) My boat has a maximum carrying capacity of 1800 pounds .This includes passengers, motor and all equipment. Myself, along with the motor, equipment and fuel weigh 800 pounds. In the summer months when I carry my bait tank it weighs 250 pounds. That leaves 750 pounds max for the passengers. If your party exceeds this limit, please let me know ahead of time so I can make some arrangements. I navigate allot of shallow water to get to my fishing areas and being over loaded makes it difficult to do so. These are the rules in my boat and I truly appreciate everyone following them. Thank you. |
