It rained all day but the
fish bit some. We landed
11 blues that weighed a
total of 270 pounds. Big
fish was a 43 pounder,
followed by a 38 and a 36.

We had a good trip in the
river today. We caught
fish steady all day and
had (1) double and even
(1) triple. Finally got a big
one right before we quit.  
We landed 15 blues today
for a total weight of 404
pounds.  Big fish was a 54
pnder followed by a 40,
35, 34 and a 33.

Fished in the river today
until the weather got
bad. We landed 7 blues
that weighed a total of
200 pnds. The biggest

the river today. We had

130 pounds.  The
biggest was 29 pounds.

seem to get them in the

Had another good day
in the river. We landed
12 blue cats for a total
weight of 358 pounds.

pounders, a 36, (2) 34
pounders, and a 32.

April 28, 2008

The american shad
bit good for us today
despite the stormy
weather. We ended
up with 47.

April was another great month for the blue cat fishing. We took 10 trips down in the river and caught
90 blue cats for a total weight of 2,311 pounds, for an average of 9 fish per trip weighing 26 pounds
each.  The biggest fish we caught this month were 54, (2) 44 pounders, a 43, (2) 42s and a 40. Again I
would like to thank everyone who fished with me this month. I expect May to produce the same along
with some bigger fish.
